How It Started
From a passion to a DMV favorite
OLF Beauty & Hair grew out of a deep love for braiding and natural beauty. What started as braiding for family and friends is now a studio in Lanham, Maryland, serving clients from all over the DMV.
Founder Matha Olufunke wanted a place where you get quality braids at a fair price without anyone rushing the craft. Clean parts, even sizing and a light touch on your edges come standard.
Beyond the chair, Matha makes her own natural hair care line in small batches: hair butter, scalp oil, braid spray and more, made with the same care that goes into every braid.
